I had to shopping for mags somewhere else beside the EE because cea74 was buying every single damn ak74 mag that was put up for sale. I found black Bulgarian ak74 mags at Apex for $25 plus shipping. I just ordered two with a total cost of $59.35. They also have brown and red for $35 plus shipping. Hopefully cea74 hasn't bought Apex out by the time anybody reads this.

I was debating on ordering new mags from Ammotogo but at $187 for them before shipping vs what I got from Classic Arms ($142 to my door with shipping) I decided to go with Classic Arms again for 10more. http://www.classicfirearms.com/30rd-eastern-block-ak-mag Good to see they took care of you. I ordered a few from Classic Firearms and they were advertised as VG/Exc condition, but all were dented and had heavy rust pitting! |

One follower had so much rust, it looked like it was spot-welded in place. I got it to break free, but... Someone sprayed the crap out of them with oil or cleaner. All that did was make rust run all over the packaging. I wrote Classic, but I'm not holding my breath. I'll hit the gunshow next week and pay double. If I see a young/new shooter at the show, I'll just give these away to him/her. If Classic makes good on them, fine. Otherwise, I'll never buy from them again. I just don't have time for this crap. |

I've been getting 30rd Tapco mags off of Gunbroker for about $5.50 each. I don;t know what the consensus here is about them but I haven't had any issues yet in either AK with them.

I just got a couple more Polish steel AK magazines from Apex. $20 a pop.
Spoke to a women there, she was very kind. ***As a side note, (online) if you order let's say.. 3 items and then want to increase your order (cart), make sure you hit the "UPDATE" button AND THEN "continue" once you're done with the addition. Otherwise, you'll be on a hamster wheel and it will keep reverting back to your original request if you just keep clicking "continue". Good luck |

Just got an email saying Arsenal Circle 10 5.56 black magazines are back in stock at Manventure Outpost for $28.90 each. These are selling for more used on the EE right now and shipping is cheaper than K-var.
EDIT: ALL GONE! |

I can't find any AK mags anywhere. But even if I do find some I don't know which ones are to avoid and which are good? Like TAPCO. I found a site to back order those on feb 6th but don't know if they/'re decent. Any other sites to buy from would be appreciated
|

dreese Tapco is OK if you can't find anything else, but aren't the best, Commie military made steel AK mags as well as Bulgarian Circle 10 poly mags are best. AIM is one of the best place to find AK mags, they are currently out but I bet they find some before too long. Gray steel mags listed as Korean or Asian do not have a good reputation.

Forget it, guy is notorious for not updating his site. Best case, you'll get an email saying price is now 40.
|
|
|
Then I will not buy and will report him to the BBB for false advertising.

There was a thread about this place. I believe it said the guy who runs it had a stroke a few years back and is still trying to run it himself. Apparently he does not update the web site and has not for years.

Buymilsurp claims to have steel 30 rounders for $25 each.
I ordered a four pack and tracking number claims Monday delivery. I'll let you know if they're all busted up or split or anything. Buymilsurp AK Mags The overall number in stock did not drop after I placed my order and that makes me a little suspicious. |

I'd say 90% are saying, We all know it's fake; we're playing along. The other 10% are saying, We're ready! And I'd say 10% of that 10% can't wait for it to happen Max Brooks on Zombies |
