The Korean mags do not have a good reputation, I think you would be happier with real military surplus.
I'd rather buy the polish mags from AIM, but I don't want the rest of the gear.

Mik I thought the same thing so haven't ordered a set yet. The mags look pretty good, but the bayonet was missing the insulator grip and hanger, and the sling and pouch looked heavily used.
I also don't want the AIM extras. I'll continue to wait.

I can't get over the price disparity in some of these mags. I bought a couple of 30 rounders a year ago from KVAR at around 30 bucks a pop. Bulgarian poly with US steel floor plates. They claimed that these mags are the Mac daddy and worth the money. I can't help but feel like I will experience very little performance difference between the $9.95 Tapcos and the $30 mags from KVAR. At any rate, I'm just glad to get my hands on ANYTHING nowadays. The DHS buying 2,717 MRAPs and 1.6 billion bullets makes me feel so warm and fuzzy. |

Just shooting at a square range you probably won't notice a difference. Doing competitions and classes is where you will get the most out of those Circle 10s or wish you had spent the money on them. |

AK 6-Mag Sampler Pack $99.99 @ cdnnwww.cdnninvestments.com/ak6sapa.html Couldn't get the hyperlink to work on my phone |

Most of those mags in the 6 pack are plastic and I don't think they have metal feed lips or lugs. The Bulgarian all steel mags are good but the price of $30 seems high, but may not be bad for now.

AK mags at AIM, $14.95...not many left.

As much as I need AK mags those look to be in really sad shape wear wise.

DAMN! I even had those marked with an alert email too.....nuts.
The AIM mags are now sold out. |

AIM has over 3,000 Polish Radoms in 7.62x39 @ $15.95 each. |
Agree with Fuzzy those "used" euro AK mags AIM had earlier were very used. Went ahead and ordered a Polish 4 pack AK mags w/accessories as they looked better in the picture and threw a couple of the Radom mags in to help justify the shipping costs. Noticed that Apex has more of a selection of AK mags than I've seen in awhile, Yugo BHO mags, Romanian and Bulgarian 40 rounders, Bulgarian AK74 mags, and Polish metal 74 mags. None of the prices looked great but they did have them.

Z.E.R.T. has US Palm 30's back in stock as well. $29.99

I ordered from Z.E.R.T. a few weeks ago when they had the US Palms in stock. I actually e-mailed them because I did not want to get into yet another back order situation. They replied within an hour or so and told me their website has real time inventory and if you can put the item in your cart, it is in stock. I had my magazines in my hands in less than a week. The quickest transaction I've had since the panic began. I highly recommend these guys if you are in the market for a $30 polymer AK mag.

I received 2 of the Polish kits in the mail yesterday. 7 of the mags where great shape. 1 well loved. 1 Bayonet and Scabbard looked unissued and 1 looked like had been in service for years. The rest of the stuff looked well worn.I bought to the mags so the rest of the stuff was just bonus. i'm glad I got them might try the New Polish Radom Synthetic next time. |

Just ordered a batch of Bulgarian Polymers for $19.99 each. While not a great price @$29.99, new steel Bulgarians are hard to find just about anywhere.
http://www.cdnninvestments.com/ak471.html They are upfront about not maintaining live inventory, but they do update their offerings regularly and take down items out of stock. I placed my order on Monday (3/11) and it shipped yesterday (3/13). YMMV. |

Just checked Cabela's deal still should work, put in cart and got to submit order point

I know absolutely nothing about ak's but looking to buy some mags now and the gun later. That being said, knowing not a damn thing, do ak mags all fit the different types of aks or do I have to get a romanian ak mag for a romanian and a belgian for a belgian?
If someone asked the same thing about ar's id give em a for asking a dumb question but I just want to make sure. I dont want to possibly get stuck with 10 rounders in an ak later on if something happens to pass. Thanks |
also ...what are some good brands for them. are promags reliable or worth a damn in ak's, Best to worst and what to stay the hell away from would help a lot. Thanks
