Thinking on making a suppressed PAP bullpup pistol as a home defense gun.  Like the power/firepower, compactness and ability to hold w/ one hand if necessary.  Just wondering if what the best ammo would be?  Something that frags a lot, still penetrates >12" and maybe that frags in wallboard?  I already have a 30 cal suppressor, a shorter one.

Either 123gr SP or Hornaday V Max; not sure how well they "frag" after going through wallboard, but those are probably your best bet.

Do 123 softpoints frag pretty good?  What kind of retained weight and penetration are we generally talking about w/ wolf, golden tiger, tula?  Did I mention this would be for a 10" pap?

It varies depending on manufacture; sometimes they can fail and over penetrate. Also, as a general rule, don't buy any other foreign made hollowpoints that don't say 8M3 on the box, they don't work, and often are worse than FMJ if not the same.
