I know the Romainians are suppose to be the darkish red color...but that golden oak type stain some of you guys used is mighty purdy.

Here is my latest.

Yugo M92 krink built on an Armory pistol receiver. I haven't put a finish on it yet since I just got it together about an hour ago, and I'm going to test fire it tomorrow. I have some finishing to do and will post a pic when it's finished.

Why am I seeing slings stretched across stocks like this?  I guess it keeps it from hanging all limp and getting tangled but I swear I saw one like this on an underfolder and can't figure out how they managed that...

Thanks!

I tried to push myself to shell out $67 for a 7.62 Bakelite and then also pay $15 for a US slant brake so I could have a matching PG, mag and bayonet for a nice picture but I don't think another picture is worth $80+!!

I was also thinking of getting a pack of 5 black polymer polish mags for $100...

CFS ROCKS!!!!  Pam, Your the greatest, I'm the guy that offered to take you and your husband Turkey hunting when I;m back up to speed.  I got a Yugo bore that was  just completely shot out, Pam aranged to get me a front half that was in better shape.  That baby shoots 3" groups at 60 yards biult on a Coldsteel 80% reciever.  Ive got it Duracaoted now, wood refinished, and it looks awasome.  I will find a picture and e-mail it to you.  Pam, you are the greatest!!!!  Just stopped in at the door the other day and made sure you got commision for the order.  Thanks for your awsome customer service!!!

Well there really isn't any plae to post pics. of an SKS so I thought I would through this in.

It is a Czech SKS with a 24" barrel. I took it and added a Choate machine Dragnuv stock, bipod, am installing a 4x12-50mm scope but need to get the holes for the Choate SKS Scope mount tapped first.

Had some minor problems with flaking on the stock but the Duracoat stuck well otherwise. I used woodlan tan, coyote brown, tiger stripe green and matte black. I then tried to custom mix the colors a little bit more what I was looking for. Overall I am happy with it but will go back and touch up some spots and try and get rid of the flam pattern.

Let me know what you think of it.

Here is the striaght out of the box weapon

Here it is after refinishing
