Question, I want to replace my stock muzzle brake with a better one that performs better and fits better. What is the best out there? I attempted to add a Lantec but I have not been successful with it because it requires just too much torque (using the crush ring) to get it aligned properly (No alignment key), don't want to F' up my barrel clamping down on it. Has anyone installed a Lantec? Any other recommendations out there? Thanks

File down the back of the brake some so you can properly clock it?

You are not supposed to crush the ring all in one go. Spin it on till tight, crank on it a bit, see where it sits. Back it off then crank on it some more, see where it sits. Keep doing this till you have worked it around to the point you want, it will crush down a little bit more each time.
