I have a DD lite rail II on my BCM upper that I will be replacing. Can I use the barrel nut and mounting plate from the lite rail II to attach the new slim rail? It looks to be the same shape, and I know the lite rail III uses the same mounting hardware as the slim rail. It would be much easier if I didn't have to take off the gas block, muzzle device and barrel nut. Thanks in advance.

Never mind. I contacted Daniel Defense directly and confirmed they are not cross compatable.
