Is it ok to use .223 size cleaning patches in a 9mm pistol? I was in a jam and didn't have any 9mm sized....

I probably use 3 different size patches for 6 different calibers lol, whatever works for you

Certainly won't harm.  Cotton wont hurt the bore, plus since it is smaller it be much easier to get through.  Main concern will be that it won't clean as well as it should, but no harm at all.

I don't have sized patches. I have square 1X1 & use 1 2 or 3 at a time depending on barrel size.
