I got into the whole froglube thing and I love it. However, when storing the bottle of froglube at room temperature, I notice that the level of it seems to be going either up or down. I'm unsure if I'm losing froglube or if something else is up. Thinking I was crazy, I started to track this by using a sharpie to determine where the liquid is settling and seeing if it moves any. I have two hypothesis to this. One is that it is indeed evaporating in the bottle, or two, and most likely is that the bottle seems to morph during storage where it "squeeze" the bottle on its own thereby making the level go "up" then when you pop the cap and squeeze, the level goes back "down" only because it was compressed before.

So my question is does froglube actually evaporate in the bottle during storage? Or is it merely because of the "squeezing" that causing the liquid to go up/down depending on prolong storage? I googled this and couldn't find an answer and I also emailed froglube company to determine if this is true or not.

Thanks for any help.

I have been using FrogLube liquid and paste forms for a few months now and haven't experienced any evaporation of the liquid while it is inside of the bottle.  It may look that way depending upon room temperatures.  FL does liquefy more when warmed up in my experience which could possibly be what you are seeing.  FL is good kit IMHO.

Thanks. I left the bottle with a sharpie mark and thus far it remains on the line. I notice the bottle squeeze on its own so I guess it goes up and down that way. Weird. Maybe it's frog vomit?
