So my past two trips shooting with my Fulton Armory 308 have been frustrating.  There have been many failures to fire.  The rifle cycles the round fine but pull the trigger and it's just a click.  I can put the round back in the magazine and it will fire fine.  This has happened with several types of ammo from IMI, Federal Gold Match, and Privi.  After returning home and pulling the BCG the firing pin retaining pin has been bent.  I replaced the first one figuring that must've been it but now with a second one I'm at a loss.

I've had the rifle for 3 years without a problem.  Everything was lubed well and clean since the first time the problem occurred so if anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it.

I'll attempt to post some pictures later today.  I took it back out yesterday and it fired fine for 10 rounds or so however there was a lot of smoke after the first few rounds.then I chalked that up to all the oil I had on the BCG but I'm not sure.  Anyway after the ten or so I had a FTF and replaced the entire BCG with another one and it ran flawlessly.  Also when I got home and took the original BCG apart the new firing pin retainer was all bent up again.  Thanks for your response and I'll try to get some pics up.
