Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Upper and lower fit

I wasn't sure where to put this so hope this works. I plan to store my AR in a smaller case broken down. Before I buy the case I am curious if anyone has info on if breaking it down after each use will cause the halves to become looser over time. Thanks for the help!

There is essentially no wear caused by taking the upper off of the lower...the rear take down pin gets pushed/pulled frequently and I've never seen one wear out.

I estimate you could take it apart and put it together every day for the rest of your life and never feel the difference.
