I have tried everything I can think of, even taken it to a gun smith and can't get it to run on belts.
The gun smith put it on a couple of other M-16's and had same problem.

It will run all day on mags with no problems & with any ammo. Probabily 1500-2000 rds on it so far.
But it will only run about 10-20 rounds on links and then double feeds.

I have tried the follwing:
- Ammo every kind imaginable from military to commercial - 55 & 62 gr.
- Links from several sources including ARES (new & old) None were the ones with the holes in them.
- All recomended buffers & even a few others
- Replaced feed plate with newer version from ARES

Has anyone had any experience with the  "Shrike Cartridge Guide-Fix" that Mark Genvese had listed on Sub Guns for sale?
Unfortunately the add is now dead & I have not been able to find a way to contact him.

I know others have had this problem - what did you do to fix problem.
