So I have a Voodoo Innovations 14.5" barrel with a pinned Manimal flash hider. 5.56 chamber, 1:7 twist. I can't find any full reviews on it. Just good reviews on the website I purchased it from, but nothing regarding accuracy or anything. Anyone have any experience with one or know of any reviews?

This barrel in particular.
Voodoo Barrel with Manimal

Thanks

$324 , what's so special about the barrel for that kind of price?

I had a Voodoo 16" and it shot very very well, BIL owns it now and I've heard of zero complaints.

Trust me, I didn't pay that. I wanna say I paid around $220 shipped from Joe Bob Outfitters, but it's not on their website anymore. And you pay for the convenience of a pinned and welded muzzle device that's OD is ~.747"-.748". I dont feel like going through the SBR process just yet.

I have 3 Voodoo barrels.  They shoot great.

25.4 grns of Benchmark with 52 grn Berger's or 53 grn Hornadys.

If you do not reload, Australian Outback 55 grn Blitzkings.

I have a Manimal fh on a BA 14.7" pencil barrel.  It is loud, but very light.

My bad.

Adams Arms site. Seems they are peddling the Voodo bbls.

I wanna say Adams Arms owns Voodoo Innovations or what's left of it.

A sister company or closely affiliated is my impression.

I got one from Joebob's as well. For only $190 shipped

I have no complaints.

Shoots fine too, and I have had no issues with steel cased ammo. I'm using a standard low profile gas block, DSG Arms "Milspec" Nitrided BCG, and a spike's T2 Buffer. It's been almost 1500 rounds now and I've had no malfunctions at all.

It is buttery smooth (It's a 14.5" midlength).

Think of it this way, you save money.

You aren't paying shipping, and paying adco to pin and weld the flash hider. Also if you want to change your gas block/handguard/barrel nut later you don't have to remove the muzzle device.

Faxon is also now offering smaller diameter muzzle devices now. IMO I think the manimal being introduced  kind of helped in that regard.

It's been said before, but Adam's Arms owns Voodoo.

Would I pay msrp for it? Heck no lol. I'd probably buy a Faxon or BA from Aimsurplus with the pinned gas block and one of Faxon's new flash hiders. I'd probably send it out to Adco for a pin and weld.

I've built three uppers with the VooDoo barrel and Manimal FH...never a problem with any of them.

All have been reliable and accurate.

Another fan of Voodoo barrels. I dont have the 14.5 pinned but wouldn't hesitate to purchase one and may eventually do so.

I don't have the 14.5 but have the 16.5 and love it.  Very lightweight so it swings around quickly and very accurate with Hornady 55gr bullets. Plus, it shoots soft with that rifle length gas.

I get my VooDoo fix from Aaron at Valhalla Tactical Supply : vtsupply.com

Better prices than Adams Arms and fast shipping too.

I have 4 VooDoo barrels; 11.5", 14.5", and 16" lengths. Two are ultra-lites, (14.5" and 16") and two are government profile, (11.5" and 14.5").
All are 1/7 twist barrels. All have performed well with Geco 55gn. , MEN 56gn. , PPU 69gn. , ADI 69gn. , and CBC 77gn. Wolf Gold 55gn. worked "good" too.
Great barrels, really!

I use the Manimal FH on pencil profile barrels to better match the contour of the smaller diameter.

Hope you have a pleasant experience as well!

Nothing like an 8+ week backorder
I want one too but that is a LONG time for those with little patience! I ordered a bolt from them and my 1 week backorder turned into 5 weeks. I would loose my mind if it took any longer than 8 weeks.
