Was thinking of buying a Nordic NC22 rifle instead of just the .22 upper but don't know the quality of the lower receiver. I'd like to add other 5.56 uppers to it. Anyone have experience with Nordic?

I have a NC22 factory rifle.

The upper receiver is proprietary on mine, but the lower receiver is just a regular old forged lower.  It is good to go.  I put a RRA 2-stage trigger in mine and it runs great.  I have not actually swapped a 5.56 upper on it and shot it - but I don't know why it wouldn't.

LOVE my NC22.  It was originally the 18" heavy barrel, and I had it profiled and cut to 16" and it is my favorite .22 semi hands down.  My S&W M&P 15-22 never gets touched.  But the plus side - the 15-22 mags work fine in my nordic without any modifications, they just snap in and work.
