I usually get BCMs.

Don't know about cheapest.

Check Primary Arms, they have them on sale from time to time.

Also check Damage Industries, theirs are reasonably priced.

Try eBay for buffers.

+1 on Damage Industries.
They have 50% off sales from time to time and I usually stock up on parts for future builds.

The problem with eBay buffers is many are solids that have no reciprocating mass.  I think the chinese can make a great buffer, but in the quest for bottom dollar many of the ebay suppliers are cutting into the functionality of the buffer.

Just be careful what you get.

I use these.  DELETED These are new Colt. In my opinion, better than used and/or off-brand.
An H2 is $30.00 and an H3 is $37.00. Fair enough. -W

ETA: Mr. Zackmars: Why would I want to do that? I'm just helping a brother (or two) out.

ETA: Research shows that the Co I linked to is in fact banned from the site. I'm scratching them off my suppliers list. Thanks for the heads up.

Palmetto has the H2 buffer for $20 right now but their H3 buffers are $40.

KAK has their H2 buffers for $25.  I thought they had an H3 but I don't see it on their website now.  I swear I bought one from them recently but maybe not.

If you wanted to be really cheap, buy a few of the $10 standard buffers and fill them with steel shot until you got the weight you wanted.  They would most likely be noisy though.

Bravo Co's H2 buffers are $29.95 and their H3s are $37.95.  Those are good prices and BCM is an upstanding, reliable vendor.

PSA had a sale on H3s for $25. Not sure, if still available. I always buy H3s and make H2s and Hs out of carbine buffers laying around (or just buy one for $7).

Isn't there a vendor for the weights?
