Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Is the Ar 10 snap ring different size from AR15?

I ordered an upper build kit from PSA and the snap ring is larger in internal diameter than the barrel nut, so there is no tension to put it on.  Did they send me an AR 10 snap ring?  are they different size?

ETA: different size.  They are sending me the correct one.
