I guess I didn't do my fair share of research. My rail got delivered about 20 minutes ago, and after 10 minutes of trying to get it on I decided to click around to verify that it's a no-go with a Mega upper. Has anyone had any luck modifying the rail in any way to get it to fit? I just can't catch a break, man.

This is devastating. Will the rail work with a Mega forged upper?

Our Rails are designed to be compatible with the mil-spec forged upper receivers so you should be good to go with the forged Mega upper. What we've found is that the billet upper receivers have a bit more material on the front lower section so that our anti-rotation tabs will not fit over top of them. Some modifications must be made in order to make them compatible.
