Just buy some square tool steel an grind some relief on two of the opposing corners...

For a cheap magwell broach, buy 2 cheap 3/8 key broaches. Machine a sled the length of the broaches,.895 wide with a dividing rib .148 dowm the middle. Leave a ledge at the rear to butt the broaches up against. The sled should be around .500 thick to be rigid enough. JB Weld and clamp the broaches to the sled. You now have a broach .898 wide. You can hand tune up the last 4 teeth on each outside with a radius if you like. I make these all the time for R@D stuff. They will last for hundreds of pieces. Craig
