This is my first attempt at cutting down my FSB.  Anyone think I need to take more off?  This will be going under a Geissele MKII rail ( waiting for delivery).

Holy crap, I'm way off still!  Question, where does the hollow area that the gas tube goes in end?  I was worried about taking too much off the front but after seeing the angle on your pic...seems like I can go pretty far.

Wait until you get the handguard - no sense in wasting time removing moire metal than you need to, Remember to allow enough clearance for the barrel to move when fired - it bends more than you might think.
