Picked up two of the Anderson Lowers at a LGS for around $35 each today. I was in the shop picking up a couple of rifles they were transferring for my sons. I asked about lowers, he said yep, Anderson brand, $50 each OTD. This dealer typically charges $25 per gun transferred (great people, no BS, I rarely transfer more than one at a time). Anyway, I tell him I will take two of the lowers, so he tells me the total will be $125 cash OTD for transfers and lowers. I walked in planning to spend $50 on transfers, to I am figuring $37.50 on each lower.
I have no idea what I am going to do with them, but at that price I couldn't resist. As for quality, I haven't done anything with them yet, but the finish looks surprisingly good, the rollmark isn't obnoxious, and everything looks right to my eye. I have so many ideas for cheap builds on them I don't know where to start, I also think I may have to go back for a couple more. |

I wonder who machines them for them. Primary Arms has the Anderson uppers and lowers for $39.99 each for Fathers Day. I have been seeing the Aero Gen 2 lowers for around $55 each and the assembled upper for $60, that's not a bad deal for the Aero stuff. |
