Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Will this tailcap fit my Surefire M300C?

Hey guys. Just wondering if this tailcap will fit my M300C. The listing says it is for "M6XX" series of lights. But everything I've researched online leads me to believe M600 and M300 tailcaps are interchangeable. Thanks for any input!

Be aware there are two different tailcap threads. Older tailcaps wont fit newer scouts.

I doubt you'll run in to this, mostly an FYI for anyone buying used tailcaps or new surefires and wanting to use their old tailcaps.

As far as I'm aware, the threads didn't change, but the internal diameter in the tail end of the bodies did. Some of the older tailcaps are wider where they go into the body when threaded on. This is why the new tailcaps are backwards compatible with old bodies.
