Has anyone had to ever send a surefire light back for RMA?

My M952V developed a super dim strobing effect, so I sent it back but it's been 1.5 weeks since they received it. Just curious how long to wait before I should call and check.

2-3 weeks for me and I'm in the same state as SureFire.

I had 5 weeks but it was around Christmas time and they closed for a week but I got a nib light in return

I called today.  It's been two months since I mailed them.  Guy I spoke too said replacement lights should be coming soon.  He said I would probably get an M600V as a replacement for each.

That's interesting because they no longer list the M952V on their site. Be sure to post when you get them...

I will. Guy I spoke to said they were originally replacing the heads but ran out. Since they are out of production they are swapping them for the new model.

Back in 2008 when I was in Iraq I got my G2 back within a month

2013 or 14 I got back my X300 in 2 weeks

2017 it took over a month to get back my Maximus headlamp

In the past I could email them and get a fast response. Now they don't even have an CS email I can find. When I first attempted to call CS about the headlamp I was on the line over an hour with no response. I got pissed and hung up. I tried again a few days later and got someone in about 20 minutes. The guy I talked to was cool and got me an RMA. Took over a month before I got it back, no further communication from them after my call.

Surefire was gtg in the past with CS and turn around times but not anymore in my experience.

Well that is super promising.

Hopefully they give me a M600V.

Did you get the M600V with the normal tailcap or with the tape switch tailcap?

Finally heard from surefire. They're sending me a black M622V to replace my tan M952V.
