is there a way to adapt the mount on a Surefire M952V to mount directly on a Mlock, rail. puting the rail on, then mounting the light to it makes it stick out annoyingly far.
I can see that the base is removable, so it makes me think there are some options. Picture for reference.

That's odd, Impact Weapons has a key mod mount for the 620 and they list it working with the 952.
Impact key mod mount. Impact says they have a m-lok mount available, but it's not listed on their website. |

Bolt it directly on to the rail. I've done it with KAC RAS before, shouldn't be very difficult to do so with your rail.

I could come off the top rail and have it in a position I like. |

I can't reach in to the forearm tube to turn the screws. |

They both have a weird slot orientation on the rail. 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 o’clock positions instead of the standard 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions. |

I did not know I would be happy to know a way to lose the rail locking mount on my M952 and mount it directly to an m-loc slot. The hanguard is an ALG, it does not have slots at 3 and 9 |
