I am looking to mount this at the 1 o'clock position with the Arisaka inline keymod mount then route the tapeswitch to the top rail.

Will it fit?
Would the offset at the 3 o'clock position tuck it into the 1 o'clock space better?

Thanks!

The inline will be the closer fit, but either one will work. The inline is also cheaper.

You will need to choose your front sight carefully, or play with positioning. Wider front sights like Troy or the release tab on the polymer Magpul MBUS can interfere with the body of the light depending on where you place them in relation to each other. MBUS Pros or KAC Micros will fit fine, along with the DD fixed front sight.

Those of you with the in-line, did you have any issues mounting it up? Didn't I read about the light covering one of the mounting screws or something?

Ready to pull the trigger on the in-line mount if there are no issues.

There was a clearance problem on the older version since the Protac Rail Mount 2 has a longer back end than a Surefire Scout. The new 7075 model is a hair longer to accommodate the 2 cell model without special or modified tools. The single cell light was always fine.
