Butler Creek makes clear objective caps in multiple sizes.
A red permanent marker will turn it into a red lens filter. Buy the light that meets your needs, if there's not an OEM filter cap... roll your own. ~Augee |

Have you looked into the SureFire IntellaBeam? It adjust from 5 lumens up to 350 depending on how far the object is away. Also for indoor a SureFire with a 6P led is @ 85 lumens which is perfect for indoor or you can always look into buying low output Malkoff light or drop in module for a SureFire.

A bright visible light is for target ID and to disorient any bad guys ( not preserve their night vision ) If you need "running lights" their are other colored/ lo power options out there to augment your main light |
