Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Laser Illuminators effective for hunting 125 yards?

I will be hog hunting in a few weeks and do not have a night vision scope.  I have heard of using a laser illuminator as a possible alternative and interested in feedback from anyone who has gone this rout.  The max distance will be 125 yards and I will be using a 1-6 scope.  Laser Genetics appears to be a popular brand.  I also saw an inexpensive Ade on Amazon.  Any thoughts?
