Hi everyone,

Pardon this questions as I am new to lights and am exploring the first to get. My plan is to use it on a suppressed Mk18.

Because the light spreads out rather quickly, I'm afraid my 6 inch suppressor with block the light as it comes from the flashlight partially. Is this an issue people encounter? It might limit me to a longer lights then.

I call it the shadow penis...

Mounting your light at 12:00 at least puts the shadow below your FOV. Otherwise, yes you'll have a shadow on one side or the other. Its not a deal breaker, but its something you have to be aware of.

If you get a rail that goes over your suppressor you can limit the shadow effect.

You're overthinking it.

Yes, you'll get a little bit of a shadow.

Is it possible for a goblin to hide in the "cone of darkness" created by your suppressor, only to ambush you out of the darkness and eat your face off, even with your flashlight on? I guess...?

Use the light properly, don't stand in one place and don't fixate on the "hot spot," and you'll be fine.

Yeah also be sure to get a light longer than your pistol can for your pistol to match your longer light for your rifle plus can.
