Never seen one break, no. Send it back or grab a LT271.

I reached out to Steiner to see if they will make good.
Thanks for the LT271 recommendation. Didn't even know they made an aftermarket mount for the Dbal. J |

Like the LT mount. Is it reversible?
TNVC offers the replacement version from Steiner, but it's left or right sided only. |

if my memory serves me correct, the only downside to using the Larue mount on the Dbal is the nut that tightens the mount to your rail is blocked when installed so you have to correctly adjust it for your rail prior to installing

Just wanted to follow up with this in the event it helps someone in the future.
I contacted Steiner / Burris via email : [email protected]. I was replied to within a day and within two, I had an RMA #. It took 1.5 weeks total turnaround from the time it left, till i got it back. They installed a new OEM mount for me at no charge. Cost me a total of $9 for shipping. Not bad. A good reason to buy quality products from a quality company. Thank you Steiner |
