For you guys mourning an X300 at 12 o'clock with a DD front, how many open rail slots are in front of your DD sight? Mounting the while light mount on the rail but leaving the light overhanging the rail. Just trying to get an idea what I'll be looking at if I went this way. Thanks!

ETA: Better yet, could you run a tape from the tip of the rail to the FS?

I left 7 slots free and the light hangs just over the front of the rail.
