We live on a farm and wanted a good light for coyotes, possums,  4 legged and 2 legged critters.  We also wanted a nice rechargeable ability. None of the lights I have had enough throw. This thing has incredible throw and lots of range to still use. The low setting is fantastic for walking around or doing non tactical situatiins. Anyone looking for a super bright versatile light should look into it. It's expensive but if you use your light a lot youll make up the cost savings in batteries.
In short, buy it.
