Is there a tailcap that has only the clicky switch and omits the connection for the pressure switch cable?

If such a unicorn exists, would anyone know the Surefire part number?

Thank you!

Dang, it's that simple?

I'll try it when I get home.

Thanks SD!

Yup, it works.

The Surefire Z59 cap has the clicky switch.

Yup, as already stated the Z59 cap should work. Personally I like the tailcap on my 951's and 952 though, I think it's ingenious really. But I use a tape switch on some rifles and don't on others (and switch lights around at times) so the factory cap is fuckin awesome in my book.

I won't disagree

I should probably get used to the pressure switch. It's undeniably useful.

I don't like the velcro attachment and cable management aspect of it. I know, a 7" cable should not be a big deal.

the LaRue Index clips can handle the cable management part of that.  They have hooks for the cables.

I use velcro as well as small zip ties (mount to rail), or velcro as well as bicycle inner tube (KAC VFG) very successfully for either way. If you use one of those 2 methods, that sucker won't be going anywhere.

Also, on a tangodown VFG the tape switch fits so tight you don't need anything.
