Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Primary Arms Gen I Ultimate Weapon Light any good?

I'm located near Baltimore with the riots going on and this has me reviewing the home protection inventory.  I bought a Primary Arms Gen I Ultimate Weapon Light years ago when they first came out.  Never mounted it for any usage on the rifle during firing.  So I'm wondering if this is going to be any good or should I start looking for something else?
