I just picked up a WML and I'm trying to find the right mount

Looking at the gear sector, and the HSP mounts.

Will the HSP keymod mounts lock up on the right side of the rail, to run the light at 1 o'clock?

Or am I better off buying the thorntail offset and putting the mount on my top rail?

Do you shoot right handed? Do you plan to use your support hand thumb over the top to activate the light?

If these answers are yes, then you may find that the offset mount is too low to reach if you mount it on the side.  My setup in the pic below has the 1913 offset mount mounted on the top and puts the tailcap in the perfect position for my support side thumb (shooting right handed).  When I was goofing around with the mount, I tried it on the side and it puts the light close to the rail but very low...too low for me to reach.

I also tried a Gear Sector rail piece which I really liked but it put the light a little lower and farther away from the rail thus making it a bit of  a stretch as well.

I shoot left handed, so the thumb on my right hand wouldn't go over the top of the rail.

I'm thinking the thorntail offset may be a better option

Like this, but turned around to put the light at 1 o'clock rather than 11 o'clock
