How do you guys run the wires for lasers to the grip without having them dangling all over? Is it safe to run on the inside surface of the handguard without getting too hot?

Mini-zip ties, velcro straps, electrical tape, and "Camo Form" wrap have all been reliable favorites for "taming" remote switch wires, and there are also some companies that manufacture specific rail accessories that have wire holders/routers, like some of the LaRue Index Clips, and small Ergo ladder rail sections.
As for running them on the inside surfaces of the rail - if you never get the weapon too hot, it may work, but I would generally recommend keeping them on the rails'
outside surface if you want to run them along the rail. Regardless of what you choose to do, I would make sure to avoid allowing the rails to come into direct contact with the gas tube, gas block/FSB, or barrel.
