With a flash hider mounted.. should I mount my flash light right next to it with the flash light ending where the muzzle ends?  Any issues with doing this with a flash hider?  I know a muzzle brake will cover the light with soot after X number of rounds.

it will be OK.

Fairly common to have the light close, even with, or even ahead of the FH.

I've never had an issue doing this. All my lights are mounted right next or passed the muzzle device. I've only used FH though..
