If you mean between the leading/front edge of the sliding stock and the buffer tube, how about pulling the stock off the tube and opening up the very front. About a 1/2" or so. Use a drill and sanding drum to open the gap up some so there is no contact between the tube and that 1/2" or so of the very front/inside of the stock. It can't pull the hair/beard if the tow parts don't contact each other.

Never found a stock that solved the problem. If it wasn't the hole in the top grabbing my beard, it was the stock/tube joint.

I have a B5 that is better than my magpul stuff, but the most beard friendly stock I have is the factory DD stock, looks good and doesn't seem to ever grab hair.

My magpul sl stock isn't as bad as my ctr, you might try one of those.

Magpul SL and the SOPMOD have eliminated the problem for me

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll probably try sanding out the end of the stock first.
