I just ordered the vtac 2 point sling for my 6920. When I recive it will I need to install a side swing swivel? Or is it gtg?
I apologize for my noob ness, learning everyday...

My 6920 had a side swivel that I used and I put the other end through the stock. Yours may be different, also most slings don't come with any hardware to mount them.

Your Colt should have a swivel either on the side or underneath the FSB to attach the sling to.

If referring to the attachment point on the stock it depends on which type of stock you have.

If it has a QD slot you can buy a QD swivel attachment. If not, you can insert one end of the sling through the stock as seen in the instructions that come with the sling.

Hopefully that answers your question.
