Does anyone have the Magpul MOE Handgaurd on their rifle? I have a mid-length upper with the A2 fixed front site and was thinking about changing the current handguard to the MOE. Thoughts on this product?

I have a set on my carbine. I love them. In fact I shot another member's 9mm carbine with them and loved the feel so much I had to have a set. This was before they made  midlength and rifle length. So I built a carbine so I could enjoy my own set.

I really hate the fat, oval M4 handguards. I really like the old style, skinny round carbine handguards. These have a little wider, trapezoidal shape to them that really fill the hand well. They will be on every carbine I own except for retros.

I really like the old triangular A1 handguards and don't have issues at all with the round A2 pieces so I wouldn't be in a rush to replace them in a rifle but that might change if I felt them on one.

That's good to know! I think I will have to invest in them because I really don't care for the oval basic m4 handguard

I'll bet you'll like them. They just have a great feel about them. A little plumper than the small carbine grips without the bloated feel of the M4s.

MOE handguard is GTG. Feels great and gives a nice bump in quality over stock parts. While I prefer the look of the original MOE HG, I do want to check out the new SL version asap. Should give us carbine users some extra real estate.
