It's for Remington VersaMax tactical.
The stock has been replaced by the fixed Benelli M4 stock.

Can one sling accommodate this configuration?

I had the same problem and didn't like any of the solutions I found.  I ended up ordering one of these for the front and one of these for the stock.  Makes it look like it came from the factory and it works perfectly with my BFG VCAS with sewn in push buttons.
