How do you plan to use the weapon?

I have the eotech xps 2-2 300 blackout . It is no different than the regular xps2-2 except for the little graphics on the hood . mine is on a 16 inch cabine . I like the sight and have no regrets . you can get duracoat in a can now . that solves the fde issue . On my 8.5 inch blackout I have an aimpoint pro  and like it just fine . It is mostly used for hunting with sub-sonic ammo and I wont shoot any farther than 100 yds so it fits the role pretty well.

I'd use a red dot of your choice.

I have a CompM4 on my 9" right now.  A T1/H1 would work as well or a the 300BLK TA33 ACOG.  I just don't trust EOTech's so I won't buy them

Also, the 300 BLK Eotech doesn't work with night vision...I didn't research it enough and got stuck with one.

Works great even if it is a bit pricey.  The reticle is within an inch or two of the yardage marks using factory ammo.

I'm using the Trijicon TA33 w/ BLK reticle.   It's pretty nice and has hold overs for subs and supers.
