Burris uses it in 4 different sights:
Tac30 (Calibrated @ 4X?.....   2nd Focal Plane)
MTAC (Calibrated @ 4X?.....   2nd Focal Plane)
AR-332 (3X)
AR-536 (5X)

Can the same reticle be used for ranging at 3 different magnification levels?

Can the same reticle design be used by Burris in scopes of different magnifications?  Yes, of course.

Are the ballistic marks true at anything less than max magnification on a 2nd focal plane variable?  No, youd need a first focal plane for that.

Does it matter?  Up to you...

Do they use a slightly different size of the reticle in the 3X vs 4X vs 5X scope?

If 4X was the original reticle design.   Would the 3X reticle be slightly larger, and the 5X reticle be slightly smaller to compensate?

If they use the same exact reticle for all 3 and say 4X was the original reticle design;  at 3X or 5X, you are no more than ~0.25 mil off?

You could ask Burris, but why? Just out of curiosity? I imagine an optic manufacturer knows what they are doing.
