Center of optic calc's to be 1.53" assuming the scope tubes are true to nominal size. (1" & 30mm)

Nice.  It bugged me how the PEPR came with the pic rail tops.

Nice, they look strangely familiar to another product.....
Congrats.
How about coming up with a way to make them quick release? I hate needing to keep a cut off wrench in my butt stock.

The railed tops are $10 each on the SSALT, but 2 are included with the PEPR.
So....if you want non-railed or just 1 rail, go with SSALT.
If you want 2 railed, go with PEPR.

Or, get one of each and mix/match the railed tops.....assuming they are are dimensioned the same.

What's the advantage to the SSALT mount versus a pair of rings?

Is there any way I could con you into posting a pic of a super sniper 16X mounted with these set ups?

You can mount the scope further forward to get the proper eye relief.
