I was thinking of drilling two or three holes in the side of one of mine.  I wouldn't think this would affect the structural integrity of the mag.  Your thoughts?  Anyone done this?

Or should I just count the taps...

I say do it.  Just don't do it near the feed lips.  And if the mag fails, then it is not Magpul's fault.  You altered their magazine.

Just curious but why?  They make Pmags with windows and the make clear mags if you want to make it even easier.

It's a ten dollar mag, drill and dremel a slot for your viewing pleasure.

Or for 13.00 get a pmag with a picture window that also keeps dirt out.

Good point, didn't think about that, gunk can get in the holes.  Project cancelled.
