Anybody have any suggestions for a product that will carry 1-2 extra ar/m-16 magazines on a belt?

Thanks

For a single mag, I use a Comp-Tac kydex belt carrier.

I'm right handed, so I bought one for right side carry and wear it on my left side.  Apparently nobody at Comp-Tac has been trained on a carbine since they make their AR mag carriers the same pistol carriers.

Works great though, have been using it in training and competition for years...

Brownell's single AR pouch. I use 2 on my 3gun rig, been using them for years.

+1. Not fast in any way shape or form... but cheap, and practical! Perfect for just "carrying" them. This gets my vote.

What kind of belt? Molle or normal pants belt?

They work fairly well, especially given the $20 price point.  Since they are a paddle design, they are easy to get on and off.  They retain USGI style mags the best.

Another great option is the ITW Fast Mag.

I've got a couple of these and they work great.  I've also got some HSGI Taco setups that also work well.
