That's really dumb if they did 150gr. Leave that for .308 and ought six.
I wanted to see this load with a 90gr bullet at 2500fps in a 16". |

I agree. It does appear to be the same bullet as they put in the .308 load. I guess they wanted a plug and play "solution" to capture part of the .300BLK market for the Fusion MSR line.
I too would much prefer to see something in the 110-120gr range for a Blackout load. Something to rival the venerable 110gr TAC-TX from Barnes, but that would require work on a new bullet that they haven't done yet. I still hope they do though! |

I would think the 150gr bullet weight was chosen to be a ballistic match to the 150gr FMJ round in the American Eagle line.
