Looks like an upside down primer. It happens when reloading if you QC process is watching tv.

That's a Winchester factory specialty. Back during the first bans and black
Talon days Winchester would have those specials in boxes of duty ammo. That's when we switched to hydro shoks for about 15 years before bouncing back to ranger sxt and sometimes gold dots. |

Got a factory Winchester 300 Win Mag round like that years ago. Sent the box with the lot number and all 20 rds back. They sent me 2 boxes and some other swag. Don't remember now what.

Thats one of them reverse firing primers. 3gunners use them for low recoil rapid fire full auto loads.
Or its flipped, some companies are really generous when informed of them in a batch. (hint... tell the company) |
