This is the brand new lot from GT. Last lot had a very high failure to fire rate if you weren't using extra power springs. My sample size is small (100 for this test), but I still had 1 failure to fire...

.223 Remington, 55gr FMJ, Golden Tiger, Velocity Test, Redeemed?

Thanks for posting this. Im holding off on buying this after the last time I tried this ammo until more data is out. 1 out of 100 is still an unacceptable failure rate. I already tried stronger hammer springs with the last lot of this ammo and it didnt work and Im not willing to go with an extended firing pin that can possibly pierce primers with normal ammo or be more prone to tip breakage.

I bought 7k rounds of the hard primer ed  gt ammo, I got it to run 100% in my AR's and TDB. Thay being said it was not very accurate 3"-6" groups.

I had failure to cycle on a few rounds like 5-6 out of 200. One light strike.  It felt pretty weak but it did go bang on all but one. Accuracy was typical Russian at 2.5-3.5 moa. I would definitely not rely on it for real world situations but for range work it is probably ok.

Didn't know about this. Thanks OP and I agree. I don't even want 1 out if 100.
