I've shot over 5K rounds of it, and have yet to have a failure I attribute to it. I have had one baffle strike on a suppressor, but I honestly do not know what round caused it, and you can have an imbalance in pretty much any round. Suppressor has well over 3K on it and nipped only once.

I know I'm new here but I can say I have shot this ammo for years, thousands downrange and I've not had a bunk round

Thanks for the responses guys. This is basically like getting a d60 for $50-60. Order placed. I've wanted a D60 since they came out but I haven't been willing to pay over $100 for it. Good bless PSA!

I don't know about that. I bought 5,000 XM193 earlier this year for .32/rd and most of it was in ammo cans.

This month I've bought 6,000 steel case at .17/rd.

A D60 is $98 from the distributor, so it's a pretty sweet deal. Unless PSA charge $40 to ship.

IIRC it was just over $30 to ship to me when I checked, it's been a few days.

I think I bought one of my D60's for $95 delivered. I think it was $105 for the second.

$26 to me in WA. That's more than S&G charges to ship a case of this, but not crazy outrageous for a drum + case. I'm fine with it.

It's def not a bad deal. If I was ready to buy another D60 I would be picking up some xtac to go with it

Is Xtac crimped brass or non?  I love PMC bronze brass for reloads, so it's a toss up between pmag deals at the moment

Xtac brass is crimped and has the head stamp PSD. Great for reloading, but my 650 is setup to swage during bulk brass processing.

It also looks like its got a sealed primer and maybe case neck.

I've heard there's a video out there showing PMC XTac to have a lot of muzzle flash in the dark. A bit more than most other ammo.

I haven't seen the vid, heard about it from a coworker who had looked into it and whatnot recently.

I have a couple cases of Xtac so I really should look it up. I would guess they use more of a slower burning powder if there is indeed a ton of muzzle flash.

I use warcomp (Closed or open tined) on all my weapons. XTAC M193 does just fine at night. However, if you're running a bare muzzle or something that does not mitigate flash as well, yes, it can be very flashy, or if you are running shorter than about a 14.5" without something like a Vortex, etc.

Suppressors will make flash worse than a GOOD muzzle device.

Yeah, it fails to mention what muzzle deceive the guy was using. Shooting it out of a Warcomp, it looks less obtrusive than a "failed" flick of a BIC cigarette lighter.

Not only does it say that he's using a standard military type flash hider but you can see that it's an A2 in the first photo.

I glossed over it because I've not had that issue, my mistake.

No biggie, I still think it's good ammo. But the 193 in my stash mags is and will continue to be LC or IMI.

IMI is my standard shtf ammo. This pmc will be supplementary, and the vortex is my standard muzzle device, so all is good. Can't wait try the d60. Already have a beta mag, now I'll have the "intermediate" sized drum well. Suck it feinstein!
