I've been out of the loop for a bit. A few years ago when I was building sbr's (11.5" and 12.5" barrels) I stocked a fair supply of Hornady 8126N TAP ammunition as it was all the rage for defensive ammo for sbr's.  I am now getting back into the mix and see that a barrier blind bullet is probably a better trade off.  Should I stick with my supply of TAP or rotate that out for a great barrier blind load like:

5.56 mm Federal 62 gr Trophy Bonded Bear Claw (TBBC) bonded JSP (XM556FBIT3)
5.56 mm Winchester 64 gr solid base bonded JSP (Q3313/RA556B)
Black Hills 5.56 mm 50 gr TSX loading.
The Hornady 5.56 mm 55 gr GMX

Opinions welcomed!

If your not worried about wall penetration, sure, go for a barrier blind load.

really, nothing wrong withT2 TAP. It has great velocity out of short barrels. Indoors, I prefer non-barrier blind ammo (why is another discussion) like T2 TAP, MK262 or IMI Razorcore.

The top three on your list are gtg, I would add Federal Fusion. I recently read some reviews of the GMX that showed it didn't expand as well as the TSX loads. I will see if I can find it.
