I've never bought ammo online. I've got a buddy Looking at going prairie dog hunting and looking for some bulk ammo to take. He has a heavy weight barreled stag that he plans to take in 5.56/233.

You guys have some recommendations on something of decent quality that won't break the bank?  Oh and where it can be ordered?

Thanks

Look at IMI 77gr OTM "Razor Core" at Widener's.

It's a relatively inexpensive Mk262 clone.

The two suggestions above are very good choices, but not my choice for varmints. Some states do not allow FMJ for game. Check the hunting regs.

For prairie dogs, I wouldn't use either of those. I would get a 45 to 55 grain V-max or OTM.

Something like this: AE223 50gr varmint grey tipped. This stuff is very accurate and reliable.

+1+ on the "Fed. 50gr Tipped Varmint" stuff ! Outstanding accuracy to cost ratio !

It shoots a little over 1 MOA in all of my AR's at 100yards.

PSA has the best price on it currently.
