I bought this off a guy and I have no idea what it is. I know the linked is l tracer stuff but I didn't know if it had any extra value due to it being linked. The other loose ammo I have no idea what it is. Any help on what this stuff is and the value is greatly appreciated!

Google searching on the top two headstamps indicate they are Israeli 7.62x51.  The bottom left headstamp seems to be South African.

Editing to show work.

I'm sure someone way more expert than me will come along and either add to this or rip it to shreds.

No, in fact it's a bit of a PITA unless you own a Belt fed MMG.  The tracer does though.

I have the same question. I got a hold of 10 rounds of the ammo pictured. It was mixed in with some Lake City 7.62 x 51. Where the heck is this stuff from? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply. It looks like some sort of symbols, but not greek letters. There are two stars with either 09 or 60, but it looks more like 60. I've never come across this headstamp ever.

It might be Arab ammo, specifically Syrian.  Google led me to this:

and

Do you have a clearer photo of the headstamp?

It looks like the same stuff I have. The thing that sticks out is the three crimp marks over the primer. I didn't put up any pics of it but I will try to tomorrow

I'd be really careful with that Israeli stuff, as certain lots of their 7.62x51 have been documented to blow up rifles. I know that their TZZ80-marked ammo has problems with thin, corroded brass, but there may be others.

REad about it here..

But what kind of Syrian?  7.62x51?  7.62x39?  7.62x54R?
